Dr Karolina Pray ND DC
Dr. Karolina Pray received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois in 2021. In 2023, she earned a second doctorate at NUHS as a Chiropractic Physician, graduating with honors in both programs of study. Dr. Pray is also trained in Jin Shin Do–an energetic technique that incorporates acupressure to clear stress and trauma from the body. She holds a diploma in massage therapy as well and certification in Acupuncture.
Prior to pursuing her medical degrees, Dr. Karolina was a financial analyst. Due to her severe illness fifteen years ago and over the course of a long healing journey that led her to recovery through the help of holistic doctors and practitioners, Dr. Pray was inspired to become a naturopathic doctor and a massage therapist. It is her pleasure to offer her patients the same compassionate and comprehensive holistic care that helped her to regain her own health.
Dr. Karolina’s areas of special interest include autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hashimoto’s, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, Interstitial Cystitis, Yeast and Mold overgrowth, vector borne illnesses such as Lyme disease, mental health and wellness, and food and chemical sensitivities–just to name a few. Additionally, she specializes in women’s health targeting issues such as PMS, PCOS, fibroids and irregular menstrual cycles. Dr. Karolina has practiced holistic care in Wisconsin, Chicago, Illinois, as well as in the Seattle area where she has utilized her naturopathic and chiropractic skills to help her patient reach optimal health.
Dr. Pray enjoys teaching her patients how to regain good health through lifestyle changes, nutrition, herbal remedies, homeopathy, soft tissue massage and manual therapy, acupuncture for muscular pain, acupuncture and Jin Shin Do acupressure for digestive issues, chiropractic and naturopathic manipulation, and reflexology. Prescription medication when required, as well as vitamins and minerals, and IV therapy. She uses various diagnostic laboratory techniques such as stool tests, food sensitivity, allergy panels, mineral & vitamin deficiency testing, and conventional bloodwork to help identify underlying causes and specifically target therapies. Dr. Karolina uses these various techniques to tailor an individualized plan for each patient based upon their unique needs.
On the weekends and in her free time, Dr. Karolina enjoys hiking in the mountains, skiing, yoga, and traveling. She is fluent in English, Czech, Slovakian, and has a working knowledge of French, German, and Polish. She is a strong advocate for marginalized groups, and is an elder care volunteer. Dr. Pray has two grown children, William and Lauren. William plays hockey in New Hampshire for Plymouth State University.
